This trip was planned for novices, and there were two in this party of five — but it would
have been hard to pick them out they did so well.
I haven’t seen this much snow in years.
The biggest complaint from all participants: ski poles — they were too long!
Three feet would have been about the right length.
It’s nice to complain about too much snow!!
On the way home we tried out the new coffee shop in Oakridge.
Dark green building across from Willamette Food (on the south side of Hwy. 58).
The sign on the side of the building says “Espresso-Bakery-Antiques”.
We had the best coffee we’ve ever had in Oakridge … it would be nice to support this
new endeavor as we go back and forth this winter.
Skiers were Amber Corsetle, Chuck Mitchell, Anne Montgomery, Clare Tucker and Jane Hackett (leader).
