Eleven of us piled in Bob Dark’s van and drove to HooDoo for a glorious day of skiing.
Four people chose to downhill ski while the rest cross-country skied in and around the HooDoo area.
It was a sunny day and the ski area was not crowded, which made it perfect for beginning skiers.
At 4:00 we had a cup of tea and some doughnuts, provided by Bob Dark, before all participants
(Genie Currier, Theresa Geary, Jane Hackett, John Jacobsen, Kristin Kaminski, Anne Montgomery,
James D. Schick, Sharon Ritchie, Carol Waddell and leader Janet Jacobsen) took off for Eugene.
