It was perfect weather for the 17 people that started up the road at 10:30 a.m. The snow wasn’t bad on the way up! At least there was enough snow to ski. The last two miles of the downhill trip was a bit rough, trying to control speed and snowplough on icy snow, especially in the shade. Down by 2:30 and headed for the Dairy Queen in Oakridge were Ray Beer, Jane Hackett, Dick Hildreth, Filip Ladislav, Glenn Meares, Dick & Rose Marie Moffitt, Bill Montgomery, Royal Murdock, Sam Miller, Dave Predeek, James Schick, Suzanne Steussy, Harold Thompson, Martha Welches, and John & Janet Baker Jacobsen (leaders).
