Arrowhead Lake

What more could one ask for — great company, fresh snow as good as you’ll ever find in the Cascades, a pleasant trail, and sunny weather that wasn’t too hot or too cold. We weren’t sure whether we really found Arrowhead Lake, which is located about a mile west of Midnight Lake, but declared ourselves as having reached its vicinity in any case. Skiers were Sharon Friedlander, Norma Lockyear, Dick & Rose-Marie Moffitt, Royal Murdock, Wes Prouty, Barbara Schultz, Suzanne Steussy, Andy Thompson, Martha Welches, Ruth Wisner and Dallas Hemphill (leader).
