Brice Creek

Three-quarters of the trip was pleasant — with sun, lush forest and nice rock formations. Lunch was by the creek about a half-mile from the road. After about an hour of relaxing in the sun, we walked back towards the cars. Unfortunately, about 2½ miles from the trailhead, the heavens let loose — which motivated us to keep up a fairly brisk pace!! Hikers were Dominique Marquinto, Narty Wilches, Robin Cochran, Marty Hathaway, Cheryl Barry, Bonnie Mineham and leader Gary Marx.
