McKenzie River Trail

May 30, 1992

It was a beautiful day and our small group was not deterred by the lack of sign-ups. We hiked from Sahallie Falls down to Tamolich Falls, where we had lunch by the gorgeous blue waters. Marty entertained us with a rousing rendition of the Hanimus Beer Song. We then continued down to Smith Reservoir where we concluded our hike. Everyone (Marty Hathaway, Gary Marx, Ed Lichtenstein and leader Joyce Strassberg) agreed it was a very enjoyable day.
