Castle Rock

The day was perfect for this hike. The “hi-lite” was the Candy Stripe Pyroga on the trail — it was at its peak of beauty. We decided not to go on the Rainbow Falls hike since our seven-mile round trip up Castle Rock was so delightful. The hike took a little over two hours walking up and one hour and 15 minutes down, with an hour and a half on top by Sandy Moore and Ted Briles (leader).
