Kentucky FallsMay 10, 1992Weather fluctuating, Mother’s Day, and an eager group of 14 descended into the unknown (for eleven) looking for Kentucky Falls. The light misting rain made us feel like we were in a rain forest! Columbines, iris, monkey plants, etc., were out for the avid wildflower enthusiast. For those liking creepy crawly things, there was an abundance of snails, slugs, frogs, salamanders and centipedes. Ending the hike with sunshine and happy faces were Bruce Abrahamson, Ray Beer, Annette Brosig, Ben Elkus, Frank & Nancy Golden, Marty Hathaway, Ray Jensen, Tom McGuirk, Arun Toke, Christy White, Jan White, Martha Winter and leader Diane Jeffcott. |
