Fall Creek TrailApril 4, 1992Three ladies met me at the Lowell Ranger Station, and we then headed up Fall Creek to Dolly Varden and started our hike. The weather was wet and cloudy. Fall Creek Trail is a very muddy trail, and was slick in places. We saw plenty of motor bikes on the trail — this made for sloppy walking. However, we had a dry lunch stop, then turned back, but it rained all the way back to the cars. Anyway, we had a good hike: Thank you ladies for the trip!! We hope bikers will read the signs at the trail head, and stay off this trail in future! Mud-sliders on Fall Creek Trail were Adelle Frantel, Lois Nelson, Carolyn Kulhin, Christy White and Mary Bridgeman (leader). |
