U. of O. Ornamental Stone Trip

Eight of us tramped through the campus of the University of Oregon with perfect weather for hiking. The flowers were blooming but the campus was deserted owing to Spring Vacation, so we were unable to get into some of the buildings. Ornamental stone from many parts of the world has been incorporated in the buildings. We ended up examining tombstones in the cemetery. Those enjoying the stones were Clair Cooley, Gladys Grancorvitz, Ray Jensen, Lois Nelson, Lois Schreiner, Shirley Sivala, Margaret Wiese, and Ewart Baldwin (leader).
