Beautiful sunny day — spring skiing at its best!
We started out at 10 a.m. and the trail wasn’t icy, only a little bare in two spots.
Fortunately, there was good snow going up to the steep ridge.
Here we had an excellent view of Diamond Peak while we had our lunch.
The trails are well marked.
From here it is three miles into Rosary Lakes.
We had some nice view of the mountains and lake on our way down the Davis Lake access road.
Before going back we enjoyed more of the sunshine while Matthew and Chris explored a
three-mile side loop and Anne practiced downhill runs.
A leisurely stop at Odell Lodge for delicious blackberry cobbler was a perfect,
satisfied ending for the “7-mile loopers” day by Mary Lynn Cummings,
Gladys Grancorvitz, Matthew King, Anne Montgomery, Hank Plant, Bobbye Sorrels, Chris Steele
and Dot Leland (leader).
