Santiam Lake

In keeping with my tradition to lead Obsidian cross-country ski trips, we got lost twice and never made it to our destination! We ended up as far away as Lower Berley Lake. It snowed all day during the trip and was great skiing weather. It must have begun snowing the night before, and a good thing, or we would have had to do some walking from the parking lot to get to snow line. Participants were Denis Biesecker, Dick Hildreth, Nicola Pain, Suzanne Steussey and Bill Bankston (leader).
