Sand Mountain Lookout

Four of us showed up and despite poor snow conditions we decided to go for it. Sand Mountain could have been called “ice mountain” that day, but we did make it to the saddle area between the two peaks. The participants were Dennis Biesecker, Gene Thaxton, Marriner Orum and Tom Donnelly (leader).
