August 17, 1991
Climbed to McArthur Rim overlook from Three Creek Lake.
Perfect conditions — warm, slight breeze, abundant flowers, open views of the Three Sisters,
Broken Top and Three Creek Lake.
Ate lunch, then explored Broken Hand at the base of Broken Top’s Bend Glacier.

(Sharon finding an innovative way to stop), and passed through meadows thick with flowers and
We intersected the Little Three Creek Trail and followed it back to Three Creek Lake.
A thunderstorm broke during the last two miles.

Returned to the cars about 6:30; home at 10:30. Excellent trip and group.
