Crescent Mountain

July 21, 1991

It was a hot climb up Crescent Mountain, but the view extending from Diamond Peak to Mt. Adams was well worth the effort to the twelve hikers on this trip. A very large ant hill near the top created a lot of bugs flying around at the summit. Maude Creek provided welcome relief for our feet near the trail's end!! Hikers were: Dan Bates, Angie Cowles, Barb Eisen, Ray Jensen, Marty Hathaway, Bob Hill, Carolyn Kompanik, Ed Lichtenstein, Diane Peterson, Paula Vehrs, Cindy Wheeler, Brian Wilga and Suzanne Steussy (leader).
