Mt. Pisgah (Sketch/Paint)

Seven persons signed up — three “no-shows”. Too bad for them, they missed a gorgeous day to hike, as well as great inspirational subject matter everywhere one looked. We did not stay together. The “odd-girl-out” announced that she preferred to be by herself for the morning: I think she did not paint or sketch! Jane and I hiked to a place where she was content to stay and work (creating a small masterpiece) while I hiked onward and upward to look for Nancy. Nancy got there early and got busy on her painting at her chosen spot, looking down on the valley floor. All-in-all, an enjoyable outing by Jane Corliss, Susan Deener, Nancy Karp and leader Carolyn Orum.
