Big turnout at December Potluck

December 20, 1991

It was a festive evening for the 84 people who attended the December 20 potluck at the Lodge (plus the ten or so who turned up for the slide show). The tables had colorful centerpieces prepared by Vera Woolley and Rose Marie Moffitt.

Many members came early to visit, drink hot cider, and help decorate the Christmas tree, under which were piled quantities of canned goods and other food donations. Shirley Froyd presented an upbeat report of her bicycling trip in England and Holland (in spite of the rain!!).

Thanks to Parker Riddle for the fire building and setting-up of tables, John McManigal for boxing up the food and delivering it to “Food for Lane County”, the kitchen crew who managed to keep things under control, and to the volunteer who takes away the garbage.
