Camp Hackett Rally

April 26, 1991

Ninety-nine chairs were used, with some people standing, for the Friday, April 26 Summer Camp presentation at the Lodge. Lloyd Plaisted and Wes Prouty (co-chairmen) introduced the Camp Committee and Camp Cook Gwen Renfrow.

Bill Sullivan shared his slides of the trails, camp site and local gold mining spots. He had attended the Chemeketan’s summer camp in the same area last summer. It was a wonderful introduction to Camp Hackett and made all of us wish for summer days of hiking! Bill sold 20 copies of his book containing hikes and other information about the area. He will have more copies available at our next meeting.

Thanks to Rose Marie and Dick Moffitt for helping with kitchen duty and post-Potluck cleanup. We appreciated the spring flowers on the tables.
