Glenn Meares’ “Nepal Trek”

Glenn Meares showed his slides of trekking in Nepal to a full house. His slides integrated the trip details with the culture and beauty of the region. Interior shots of homes, glimpses of children and of people at work contrasted with the pace of the two-week trip. Of interest were the changes that are occurring because of the increased number of trekkers in the area. Our thanks to Glenn for such a thoughtful and beautiful program.

John Pegg and Jane Hackett gave “short” presentations about their participation on the board. There was plenty of food for all.
