Windy Point

Six of us headed up Snow Creek Trail near Sisters, but got delayed behind a snow removal truck on the road to the trailhead. The truck was having a hard time clearing, as he was making two and three drive-overs on every curve. Group decided to go on an alternate route, so we headed for Windy Point on the old McKenzie Highway. Didn’t quite make it to the point, but had a great time in the new snow, and lucky us, no trail breaking, as there were some earlier birds ahead of us. Enjoying the outing were Mary Catlin, Ed Cope, Jerry Crosby, Dennis Lueck, Gene Thaxton, and leader Chris Shuraleff.
