Threemile Lake

September 29, 1990

The weather was great as we drove to the coast via Florence and parked at the Lake Tahkenitch Campground. The trail lead through the forest above some ancient dunes. The huckleberries were ripe and abundant. We ate lunch overlooking the north end of Threemile Lake, then hiked back through the woods to our cars and returned to Eugene. A good time was had by Genie Currier, Joella Ewing, Renee Greenfield, Miki Hutchison, Loretta McCauley, Carne McClish, Gladys Grancorvitz, Alys Riley, Harriet Sider, Margaret Baldwin and Ewart Baldwin (leader).
