Oregon from the Top

February 23, 1990

Over 70 people attended Linda Erz’s slide show of her climbs of the major peaks in Oregon and of Mt. Baker in Washington. Background music set the mood as Linda reminisced about scary moments, hard work, mistakes, frustration and the joy of her climbs. Slides of Lee Hatch reminded all of us of the special qualities that leaders have in encouraging beginning climbers. The colors, sunsets, sunrises, friendships, and special moments on the summits were captured in Linda’s slides. We hope the loud applause at the end of the show let Linda know how much we thank her for sharing those moments with us.
