Cache MountainFebruary 26, 1989It was an exceptionally fine day for cross-country skiing. The temperature was cool but we skied all day in the sunshine. The round trip from the Ray Benson Parking Area to Cache Mountain is 12 miles. All but one person in our group made it to the top. There is a fine panoramic view of the Cascade peaks from the top. One can see everything from Mt. Jefferson to the Three Sisters. Those enjoying the fine skiing included Audrey Cummings, Bob Dark, Bob Devine, Sally Grosscup, John Hudson, Hank Plant, Wes Prouty, Chris Shuraleff, Martis Sigel, Hans Tschersich and leader Dave Predeek. |
