All six of us, along with skis and packs, loaded into Bob Dark’s roomy van for a very nice
ride up to the base of Odell Butte.
We started the upward 5-mile trek on skis at 10:15 a.m. and after three hours arrived at the sunny
The clear sky afforded us a nice vista while we enjoyed our lunch in a balmy 55 degrees F.
The 1½-mile downhill run was effortless all the way back to the van.
