Yoran Lake

The trip was scheduled for Yoran Lake, but where we actually ended up, no one really knows for sure, but there was lots of fresh dry snow, sometimes up past our knees. A great day for a workout, and a good thing as we broke trail from the parking lot to — some place in the forest — high on a ridge — overlooking more trees! Participants included Mari Baldwin, Rick Berkhart, Sukey DeBuse, Jill Devine, Bev Duier, Chet and Roger Galka, Diane Jeffcott, Rae Jean Larson, Brian Niemeyer, Wes Prouty, Stella Sinclair, Darryl Smith, Mel Zavadosky, and “he who should have brought out the map and compass sooner” leader Tom Woxell.
