Crescent Mountain

July 2, 1989

Conditions were prime for a hike on Crescent Mountain Trail. Temperature, weather, flowers and views contributed to maximum pleasure for our group of thirteen. We made our way to the top at varying speeds, enjoying flower- and mountain-identification on the way. Lunch at the top allowed leisurely sunning, viewing, picture-taking and conversation. The hike out, returning along the wooded ridge, across the alpine meadows and through forest was mostly downhill and ended all too soon. Our hiking group: Bob Foster, Mardi Klotz, Anne Montgomery, Dave Predeek, Henrietta Richmond, Ardys Ringsdorf, Sharon Ritchie, Bart Sarzynski, Ethy Shaw, Suzanne Steussy, Susan Stewart and leaders Mike and Velma Shirk.
