Mt. Pisgah

The day was just right for a pleasant spring bike along the Arboretum trails and the Water Garden. We stopped to see a turtle, then followed the power lines up to the top where we had lunch. We saw many wild flowers including hounds tongue near the summit. After lunch we hiked down the Summit Road, and stopped for ice cream; we were back in Eugene by 2:30 p.m. First time Pisgah hikers included Gwen Kingsley, Myrna Peterson, Dorothy Potter and Scott Hills, and Obsidians Glen Alpin and Dorothy Leland (leader).
