We enjoyed an exquisitely sunny day with temperatures in the mid 30s on our
annual snowshoe trek around Hayrick Butte, with a stop for lunch on the frozen
shore of Big Lake.
We enjoyed the pristine view of Mnt. Washington in the morning and the rugged
splendor of Three Fingered Jack in the afternoon as we continued our counter-clockwise
around-the-butte snow hike.
Vi Johnson on her X-country skis accompanied us without incident.
Others on snowshoes were Norm Benton, Karen and Paul Cohen, Lee Hatch, Vi Johnson,
Betty Macy and Joe Lowry (leader).
