Seventeen people enjoyed a warm sunny day “dune hopping” along the Siuslaw estuary.
We saw the trumpeter swans from a distance and as they flew overhead.

As we ate lunch the clouds that had been hanging over the edge of the surf decided to head inland,
causing us to head for our cars.
We almost beat the light rain, but no one got very wet.
Thanks to member Dee Bray who served as resident tour guide, and for bringing four friends from
Bandon and Coos Bay — Alice Richter, Billy and Betty Mault, and Caroline Jenkins.
