The five of us started out on an unusually foggy morning and enjoyed our climb to the top.
By that time the fog was going away and we could look down on hilltops peeping out of a sea of fog,
as we stood in bright sunshine enjoying it.
We then wound our way downhill, ate lunch at an Arboretum table, took a preview of the mushroom
show preparations for tomorrow, and hiked some of the Arboretum trails.
We still got back to town in the early afternoon — after a very enjoyable time of hiking
Mnt. Pisgah hikers were Bernie Claypool, Terry Ianora, Frank Sumich, Ruth Sumich
and Miki Hutchison (leader).
