Camp Lake is one of the Chambers Lakes high in the saddle between the Middle and South Sisters.
This day the sun was warm and the view spectacular.
The gray dust billowing up over the Middle Sister after a giant rock fall reminded all who viewed
it of the power of nature on this mountain.
Lots of other hikers shared the seven mile trail to Camp Lake with twelve Obsidians.
It is a long drive and long hike in one day but the view of the east side of the Three Sisters is
worth the effort.
Obsidians and guests were: Maxine Hall, Suzanne Steussy, Richard Sundt, Ardys Ringsdorf, Bob Foster,
Mae Jackson, Linda Wells, Jane Hackett, Dave Predeek, Barbara Mickel
and leaders Mary Ellen West and Vi Johnson.
