Willamette PassFebruary 5, 1986Are Obsidians yearning for a chance to downhill ski at Willamette Pass during the week? N0. At least not this time. Perhaps it was the lack of snow but only two friends of the leader signed up. We left at 8:45 a.m. and were on the slopes at 10:30 a.m. Fie on the fainthearted! It snowed four inches the night before and the surface was a delight. An overcast day with occasional snow fluries, no waiting at all and most enjoyable. I’d like to do it again but wonder about interest. Skiers were Hy Hops, Ann Strother and leader Ed Lichtenstein. |
