Christmas Tree Hunt
November 29, 1986
We parked along the McKenzie Highway just north of Fish Lake.
The ground was covered with 6 inches of snow and we walked a short distance to a
series of small clearings stocked with Christmas tree size Douglas-fir and Noble fir.
There was an ample selection to choose from, and within an hour we had all made our
selections and were headed back to the highway.
The weather was quite variable with snowfall and sunshine.
This was a very satisfying trip.
Christmas tree cutters were Julie Bulrice, Nerna and Tom Cawi, Bob Foster,
Bonnie Ledford, Syd Steen, and leader Dave Predeek.
