McKenzie River Trail

November 8, 1986

With winter storms pending it was fortunate that 11 hikers on the McKenzie River Trail had only light rain to deal with. We walked into Tamolitch Falls from the powerhouse and then beyond into the “dry” Tamolitch Valley. We had lunch by a one-log bridge and then headed homeward into the sunshine of the afternoon.

The hikers were Mary Baker, Rick Burkhart, Clair Cooley, Jerry Crosby, Genie Currier, Norma Jones, Gladys Grancorvitz, Bobbie Kalbfleisch, Alice Backman, Audrey Malloy and leader Suzanne Steussy.
