Three Mile Lake Loop

April 19, 1986

With the able assistance of my two co-leaders, we hiked the new trail from Tahkenitch Campground leading south to Three Mile Lake. This is a beautiful trail that turns west at the north end of Three Mile Lake. We hiked across the deflation plane to the beach where we spent a relaxed hour having lunch under clear sunny skies. The return hike was up the beach and across the dunes to the car. It was a great day for Lee Hatch, Parker Riddle and leader Jane Hackett.
