Larison Rock

March 29, 1986

Nineteen people enjoyed a 8.6 mile hike up to Larison Rock. We enjoyed views of Oakridge and Hills Creek Reservoir on the way up. On the top we were met by high clouds that broke up allowing the warm sun through. We had a clear view of Diamond Peak and could see the tip of the Three Sisters. The flowers were starting to bloom and the trail was good except for a little mud at the bottom.

On the hike were Norm Benton, Tom Cawi, Paul Cohen, Tim Cook, Jerry Emerald, Vickie Hanson, Lee Hatch, Mike Horowitz, Karen Houglum, Diane Jeffcott, Thaddeus Jewiar, Keashab Kafley, Herb Lee, Ken Okeson, Dewey Porter, Virginia Prouty, Susan Roe, Suzanne Steussy, Mel Zavodsky, and leader Bradley Helms.
