Yachats to Waldport

Beautiful, bright, warm, sunny day walk. on the beach after unpredictable overcast, foggy morning as we left Eugene. High tide was just before we started, so we didn’t have to fight the water. It’s always fun meeting new people, “catching up” visiting with old friends. Coming home, some of us indulged in various (sizes and flavors) ice cream cones at “48 flavors”; others enjoyed Mo’s chowder on the waterfront in Florence.

Beach trekkers were Ted Briles, Barb Elsen, Mary Christoferson, Marie Graville, Mert Hayman, Jeannie Holmes, Marion Hopkins, Marilyn Howard, Corrine Hunt, Joan Keigher, Ruth and Wayne Lill, Helen Lynch, Mary Millman, Leo Pike, Alys Riley, Fred Schepman, Mona Spaulding, Eilein Sprague, Paula Vehrs, Suzanne Steussy, Jane Tucker and leader Bernie Claypool.
