Odell Butte

April 6, 1985

It was a perfect spring day as we started up Odell Butte. There was a slight crust on the snow, but it was not bad going. Unfortunately, as the day went on and the temperature rose, the snow got very soft. Luckily, the weather was wonderful, the view from the top fantastic, and the company great. Skiing down in the snow with a consistency of wet cement was less than ideal, but soon forgotten when the trip was over.

Skiers were Bob and Leona Devine, Janet Baker Jacobsen and leader John Jacobsen.
