(Around) Hayrick Butte

March 17, 1985

Bare pavement all the way to the Pass was a hoped for adjunct to this under subscribed Sunday snow walk around Hayrick Butte. A less-than-ideal surface (crusty, rutted) and the ever proliferating snowmobiles did not detract from the day’s enjoyment. Skies were blue and a minor sunburn was achieved! Lunch was eaten “near Big Lake.” Hayrick snowshoers were Ted Stern and John Cecil, leader.
