February 17, 1985
This was a cross country ski trip for beginners.
The snow was slick and fast.
We all fell down, jumped up, brushed ourselves off, and got gliding again.
Blue skies, lots of white snow, lots of hungry grey jays.
We all had a nice day; stopped at Oakridge for ice cream on the way back;
safely in the barn about five o’clock.
See you next year, same time, same place.
“Beginner” skiers were Nancy Cogan, Genie Currier, Bobbye Sorrels,
Dorothy Turner, Leigh Williams and leader Parker Riddle.
