Bunchgrass Ridge & Robinson LakeJanuary 21, 1984Due to various reasons the trip destination was changed to Hoodoo ski area. We started out on the North Loop Trail at 11 a.m. Four to six inches of wet snow was on the ground and some still falling when we began, but later turned to rain. The wax skiers in the group soon acknowledged that it was a great day for waxless skis. We followed the north half of the loop to the Blue Lake Trail and took it almost to Circle Lake. After lunch Dick, Karen, and Mike went around the corner to Circle, and then we backtracked to the loop and continued around the south half to the parking lot. The happy skiers on this marginal day were Dick Hildreth, Karen Kraft, Mike Nichol, Diane Schechter and Keith Blunck, the leader. |
