Mt. PisgahMay 12, 1984The day was just right for a pleasant hike around the Arboretum trails and up to the top by way of the Southbound trail and power lines Sunshine and excellent views of the surrounding countryside made for a welcomed lunch stop. We completed the 4½ mile loop by coming down the graveled road. A stop at a new ice cream place nearby was a nice treat to end the day. Enjoying the wildflowers were these 11 congenial hikers: Dee Bray, Bob Emmich, Ted Castell, Judy Forell, Bee Meserole, Gladys Grancorvitz, Dorothy Medill, Betty Metzler, Alys Riley, Anne Smith, and Dorothy Leland, leader. |
