Fall CreekMarch 28, 1984It was a typical drizzly day in Oregon, but the group of two Obsidians and seven non-Obsidians had plenty of enthusiasm. For most of them it was an introduction to my favorite low-elevation trail (outside of New Zealand). We started out at the western trailhead, stopped for lunch at Bedrock Campground, and hiked to FS Road 1828, a total of 9 miles. Fall Creekers were Kathy Blacketter, Bob Emmich, Arlene Hanson, Carolyn and Sybil Janecek, Martha Mitchell, Meg Janecek-Wall, Tom Wiesenfelt and leader KC Kraft. |
