Sunset Beach - Cape ArgoJanuary 21, 1984All the way over to the coast we used the windshield wipers, but upon arrival, to and behold the rain stopped and not once did we have to protect ourselves from the elements—except a little sun glare. The sea was quite calm so the waves were not very big, but it was beautiful anyway. We spotted several whales a blowin’ out near Simnson Rock where the sea lions hang out. After lunch at a view spot we stopped by the Simpson Garden which is quite a change from the wildlands around it. Those enjoying the trip were Kathy Perkins, Jane Hackett, Gene Thaxton, Judy Forell, Merle Traudt, Corinne Hunt, and leader Shirley Froyd. |
