Deception Butte

A further small work party embarked upon the first mile of Deception Butte Trail in Lowell Ranger District. Four drainage problems were remedied with much-needed water ditches, one short re-route was constructed around a root-wad, and two blow-falls were “swamped”. Crew members also visited the soon-to-be-completed bridge. This was a small but highly dedicated group. Trail users and maintainers were Mary Bridgeman, Suzanne Steussy, Jane Tucker and leader Pete Cecil.
