Great American Yak Expedition to Bhutan

Obsidians turned out en masse to meet Dave Roderick and his Eugene-based corporation, Nature Expeditions International (NEI), at the January 27 potluck. 85 people were at dinner and approximately 110 were on hand for Dave’s slide show of “The Great American Yak Expedition to Bhutan.” Dave was among the first Americans to visit this tiny Himalayan country, home of the fabled Shangri-La, when it was opened to the West a few years ago. His breath-taking slides were matched by his witty and informed narrative. Everyone in the audience received a handsome promotional brochure on NEI.
