Santiam Pass

This snowshoe trip was originally scheduled for Booth Lake, was changed to Square Lake, and ended up going to no lake at all. We started up the Skyline trail from Santiam Lodge and followed the only trail around, which took us north toward Berley Lakes, not to Square Lake. After lunch about a mile from the lake we stopped for lunch, then decided we had gone far enough and returned to the car. Completing this nice trip to nowhere were Betty Legris, George Jobanek, Don Payne, Mike Wright, and lost leader Lee Hatch.
