Cap Hagan

November 2, 1983

Though the trail to the top of 3,330 ft Cap Hagan (near Nimrod) predictably gets tougher to follow each year, Wednesday’s small group of seekers were eventually rewarded with good birds-eye views of the McKenzie Valley, under cloud-filled skies. More of the old trail is missing, and two landings are in place . . . who knows what we’ll find next year! Don’t laugh! We fought off FIVE ferocious dogs to get back through the gate (but no bites this time!). Pieing it at Vi’s (Mom’s) on the way home were Sally Jobes, Meg Janecek-Wall and leader John Cecil.
