Jones TrailMay 8, 1983A group of three nonmembers showed up on this rainy Sunday. However, we encountered mostly misty weather and enjoyed the lush, timbered winding trail to the fullest. As we gained more altitude the clouds disintegrated into snowflakes just as we were preparing for our lunch stop. This was cut rather short and we descended back to the cars at Bedrock Campground. One of the hikers was proud to know that she can do a ten-mile hike. The undaunted group consisted of Ruth Coffman, Ruth and Frank Sumich and leader Paula Vehrs. |
