McKenzie River

March 30, 1983

Three members and a visitor from Massachusetts began the hike north of Trail Bridge Dam on Forest Service Rd. #2672655 and hiked to Carmen Reservoir and back. Moderate rain. Used the new map of the McKenzie River National Recreation Trail. These may be obtained at the McKenzie Ranger District Office or Willamette National Forest Hdqtrs in Eugene. Stopped for pie at Vi’s on the way home. Hikers were John Cecil, Ellen Harbert, Lelia Lee and leader KC Kraft.
